I just read your piece, Adoption in Three Acts, in "The Maternal is Political." I was just so moved by it. What an amazing, almost haunting writing style you have. You manage to lay the memory of adoptions 1 and 2 over adoption three like a gauze, present, not distracting, and very real.
So I looked you up, and found this picture -- The one you mention in your essay! Wow. Thank you so much for sharing this, and for sharing your story.
